NWFSC RN Fall 2016 Admission

Published

Hi there! Anyone else applying for the Fall semester at NWFSC? I am about to take the first attempt for the hesi and I am little nervous! How are your scores looking so far?

I am also in Crestview. I am so ready to start! I am trying to remember if on August 19th we are supposed to be there at 7 am in clinical clothes? Hopefully we will receive an email. Ms. McN has been very good about this so far! Also, I am hopeful that we will all get a FB page soon for messaging or even better an online forum in D2L would be great!

That's what I remember, too. 0700, in uniform, with all our supplies and such, plus those first assignments complete.

Youre more than welcome to participate in this pre-class meet up and work on our assignments with us when we get it worked out.

You guys can feel free to email me on our school email - arangoa. That way we can arrange something around here in the next week or so.

I really hope so too.

Try calling up there and ask for an update. It couldn't hurt. I know that they are very busy and have a lot going on. Something like notifying an alternate could be overlooked. And finding out a definite about what's going on this close could set your mind at ease. Wondering can be worse than knowing.

I've been emailing her, but I feel like I'm bothering her. I'm really anxious I went from 12 to 4 in such a short time but I know I only got a week left

Anyone still want to meet up early this week to work on those sheets we have to do?

@Kr69, don't worry about bothering her, she's super sweet, I was number 10 on the wait list and I called her every single Wednesday and Friday all summer long. I just got the call on August 4th that I was accepted. She was so excited for me since she knew me because I called so much, she gave me a big hug. So don't worry about being a bother to her because she doesn't mind, she's rooting for you. And also if you were 12 and I was 10 that means that you would be number #2 now.

@wml93, I'm super excited now that you told me that, I really hope I get in!

@sixtie, What's on the sheets that you have to do?

One is a math sheet. Simple stuff, mostly conversions. The other is a med term sheet.

I would be up to meeting up tomorrow evening. I get off work at 7 pm and am back in town usually by 7:30 pm. Panera Bread is open late and has wifi. In addition to the math sheet and the med term I noticed that we had to watch the video from Chapter 28. The skill set sheet also had items that looked like they needed to be reviewed. Let me know if anyone is interested in meeting on 08/17/16 at 7:30 PM at Panera Bread Crestview.

Oh really, I guess I should have taken medical terminology for my AA elective

She told me I was 3rd, but I don't understand how because if you were 10th and I was 12th then I should be 2nd
