Hi,
I started this thread for those that want to chat, brainstorm and encourage each other through the application cycle.

I have completed all required and other classes. The only thing Im missing is a humanities but its not required for admission just for graduation once in the program. I have the rest of the other classes to get extra points.
Thanks for this! also, what is the time limit for teas scores? Meaning how old can they be to use them?Do you know?
Do you think alot of people take the additional cor requisites for extra points?

Honestly I dont know because everyone situation is different. In regards to the TEAS score they are good for Jan-Dec of the year and only 3 attempts. The main thing is that you meet the minimum requirements: classes, and TEAS scores.

Yes if you are not applying until Jan then the Sept 11 score wont count. Wait until Jan to take it. Also you have to wait atleast 30 days between each attempt.

I believe scores are good for the application year you are applying. Check out the above links. You will still have 3 attempts next year.
Edit- The first link says scores are good for 3 years. So you should be good but you will still have 3 attempts just in case you need them. Good luck

I’m down! I’m kind of new to the area, so it would be really cool to get to know everyone!

^ Oops. Excuse me for that completely random post ?
Fellow Spring 2020 applicant here as well. I am curious to hear what others have based on the selection criteria. Perhaps we can streamline the process and make it easier for current/future applicants.

I went to the NOVA day celebration at the MEC campus yesterday, and there was a rep from Grand Canyon Univ. Nice lady and she told me that I could take classes while in the nursing program to complete my BSN at the same time. Not quite sure if I would do that but its a thought.
