NVCC Spring 2020

Published

Hi,

I started this thread for those that want to chat, brainstorm and encourage each other through the application cycle.

I applied towards the end of August. I emailed them back just to clarify if we'll all be notified at the same time or on a rolling basis based on when we applied and they responded back saying we'll all probably find out around the same time.

I think they meant acceptance letters go out at the same time. Its different as they rank, collect points and sent qualified apps to the Dept. At least I hope and was done in past cycles(check past threads). Per their website qualified apps move up. They send emails as you make it pass the 1st step. Then everyone is sent acceptance and denials in emails at the same time.

I see, thanks! How do I search for past threads? Just search Spring 2019 NVCC?

yes I think its "2019 Fall MEC Nova" or something like that, and prior years. There is a thread just about every year.

Now Im sitting here nervous, lol. Thinking did they send out emails to the final applicants already? Things change so much, I dont know everything. This entire process gives me anxiety.

Hi guys,

I've been creeping on this thread and the one from Fall 2019 for quite a while now and decided to chime in. I turned in my application on the absolute last day (Sep. 20) and still have not heard back. Hoping to hear back soon because the waiting is killing me!

Thanks for joining!! I watched for a long time before joining as well. I have a friend that turned in her app the last day as well and she hasnt heard anything either. Both of us have the requirements. So hopefully more people would get answers this week and next week. Its just a relief knowing your file went passed the first step( even though its not the last step). The wait is killing me. I wish there was a way we could see if they count everything correct, like classes and stuff. Im so nervous.

This was just posted by the MEC FB page :

Student Services is expected to finish vetting Nursing applications This Friday, October 4th. Check your student emails frequently. Students are reviewed one at a time and notified one at a time if they have met requirements. If you have any issues you MUST RESPOND to the APPLYMEC EMAIL. It is the only way to make sure your concern is addressed by the right people.,

Hey everyone, just giving a heads up -- I just received a notification email today stating that my application is moving onto the next round. I submitted my application on the evening of 09/20. I'm not quite sure if they are processing applications in order of submission as it seems rather quick.

Hope everyone gets some good news in their inbox soon! ? Good luck!

Ok thanks. Im so done trying to read tea leaves with this school lol. Every year the process changes. Hopefully I hear from them soon.

Is this the first time they’re doing a Spring cohort?
