NVCC applying for Fall of 2014. Class of 2016

Hey guys,

I started this thread in hopes of connecting with people who applied for the Traditional Nursing program at NVCC. I have been corresponding with them via e-mail and am anxiously awaiting an acceptance letter. Hope everyone else submitted their applications without issue! Maybe we can cheer each other on :)

Has anyone ordered their nursing uniforms yet? I was wondering how long they take to come in if anyone knows. :)

I think they have it @ bookstore. unless you want to buy somewhere else. I am planning to get it tomorrow.

Yea, they sell the uniforms in the bookstore. I read somewhere on blackboard that they want us to purchase them at the bookstore just so that we all have the same color shade of uniforms. I'm definitely purchasing them tomorrow.

Yeah it's def at the bookstore. I was just getting my things together and read on the checklist that we have to have our uniforms in by the 11th of Aug. so I was wondering how long it's even supposed to take to get them in. I'm getting them tomorrow as well. Thanks :) see you guys tomorrow!

I'm planning to do mine tomorrow if DH transfers me $$$. I bet the ordering thing is in reference to if they run out of your size. I wish we could order elsewhere, I want the female style with the gather instead of unisex (I find the unisex the most uncomfortable and restrictive clothing ever). Ah well, such is life. Someday maybe I'll have a job that let's me pick. Or not. Lol.

Hi everyone, I got my uniforms at the bookstore about a week ago. I didn't have to wait for them to be ordered. I found the tops run a little big (usually wear a M, got a S). I hope once we are in the program we can move away from the unisex styles and buy scrubs in the same dye lot because they are so constricting and unflattering.
