NVCC applying for Fall of 2014. Class of 2016

I also applied to the Traditional Track. I am pretty nervous, but the admission counselor I spoke with said that everyone who applied and qualified last semester got in. Hopefully that happens this time as well.

I'm guessing we have a few more weeks until we hear anything? I can't wait!

I'm another one who applied to the Traditional Track! I also heard about all applicants getting accepted last year as well! I'm hoping they do the same this year. It's very nerve-wracking as the wait goes by. Hopefully we all just get in. Anyone have backups just in case you don't get accepted?

That is great news! I am a military Spouseand have been having to do all of this from out of state (although I have on state status). Very unnerving!

I also applied to the Traditional track! The wait is killing me. I just received email confirmation that my application is received and processed and should be hearing about my admission status soon! Wishing everyone luck. I have a previous bachelors degree and did fairly well in my prereqs- does anyone know how much the previous bachelors degree has weight on the admission decision? I am surprised to hear everyone who qualified got in last year- I heard the program is really competitive and most of those who get in have 3.5+ GPAs. PreetM-Glad to know I am not the only one paranoid lol Cant wait to hear back- hopefully it is sometime next week!

Hey HB291 welcome to joining the anxiety boat along with the rest of us! I had gotten that email a few weeks ago as well! Now we all must wait for the acceptance/denial one I'm unsure if they pay much heed towards the previous degree, I believe what they mainly look at is GPA with your prereq courses and teas scores. I also know that the closer you live to the campus, the higher your chances of getting in are. Where did you hear about that 3.5+ GPA? I know a student who actually got in with 2 C's in their prereq courses for the class of 2015! And when i was still taking some courses I went to talk to a MEC counselor and at that time my GPA was a 2.9 (yikes!) and she said not to worry since I'll be taking more classes anyways and as long as I did well in my teas I should be okay. Thankfully it went up haha but I remember her saying that.

I also applied for lpn-rn program the waiting is killing me! I am really getting crazy about it. I am checking my email every min. I am so happy I found the thread so I have someone to talk to.

Hey ya'll, I too have applied to the traditional program for the Fall of 2014. They've sent me like 3 emails now about how they're processing my application and it's making me nervous! :/

I did pretty good on my TEAS and have a 4.0 on my prerequisites. I hope to become a nurse researcher and have been attending nova for 2 years now. Is anyone else planning on doing the rn to bsn with Mason? Also, I hope the rumor that they accepted everyone last year is true good luck everybody!

why are they taking so much time this year? for acceptance letter. I have checked last year and a year before it was earlier than jun 8. I hope it is not because a lot of students. I am just nervous.
