I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
I was so thrilled it did not retrogress again and fun to be talking about VB dates with some level of hope. I am hoping we will get our green cards sometime next year but imagine it will take till 2012. That would put us at the predicted 5 year wait. If it comes to that I would be happy at this point. My son is almost 13 so would be nice to give him options to work as that is just around the corner. Our PD is July 2007 along with many others but I actually originally moved to the US as a dependent of my husband in 2000. But due to the IT crash he lost his job. It is painful to still be waiting especially since we are in Arizona and due to immigration issues going on here my hubby is terrified of even traveling anywhere even in the US. Nice to be here but miss family and have not been traveling home due to the cost of obtaining Advanced Parole and legal fees associated with it. My employer used to pay for mine but don't do that anymore. I am not sure if they will still pay for my EAD but am hoping so. It is due to renew next April 2011. So happy for all that will obtain green cards this year!!!! Yeah!!!!

these 4,025 pinoy rns, whether they jumped the line by adjusting status from tourists or are hopelessly waiting in line at the philippine consular for their turn must be accounted for before any 2006 or beyond are entertained.
beyond 2006, more and more pending applications will be competing for the paltry 10,000 eb3 visas allocated for the philippines - and remember that these visas are not exclusive for nurses but include all professions plus their dependents. so if one approved nurse brings along 5 dependents, that's 5 visas taken away from other nurses waiting in line. i a lot of nurses have been abandoned by their employers, then that's awesome news for the remaining batch of 2005 who will finally get what they have been waiting for so long.
