I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????
I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
The Visa Bulletin has much nothing to say even if it will be current. Hospitals are finding it hard to look for ways paying their employees due to a drop in income brought about by less number of patients coming in. When Hospitals census are low and continue to drop....then expect that petitioners will sooner or later cancel the job offers. This is something for sure will happen.
How can hospitals finance foreign nurses in coming over where in fact right at this time,a lot of them are already experiencing hardship in getting their employees paid.
The logic is simple,When Job offer gets cancelled, then everything is gone, and the Visa Bulletin, no matter how far it will jump forward, will just be a plain mirror without reflection of beauty but a beast.
The best way to deal with this problem is to look for other options.
hi everyone,
been reading almost all the posts here in this forum for quite some time now. but this will be my first time to post at last... hope you could enlighten me. to start with...
my case is this:
category: eb3 philippines
pd - sept 1, 2005
uscis approval: may, 2006
got married: june 01, 2006. informed my lawyer about my present status. she advised me to include my husband in my ds forms data. changed status and husband became a dependent in ds form.
nvc receipt notice: mnl20066xxxxx
case complete 3 times since 2006 - the latest update from nvc was that i'm documentary qualified last june 21, 2008. and will wait for the vb to be current.
last update from my lawyer: dated october 2008. i was informed that i don't need to update any documents anymore since my case is now complete as per advise by nvc. and that were only waiting for the pd again to be current. then nvc will send my packet 4 right away.
present status: still waiting for appointment date/packet 4
question is:
1) can anyone here have any idea what causes the delay of my case? for i had been case complete since last september 2006. my lawyer doesnt provide me a valid reason why? i do believe she had something to do about it.
2) i am pregnant at present, and my edc will be on may 2009. do you think i wouldn't encounter any problem during interview with my pregnancy, if in case i'll be fortunate to have an interview before i deliver?:yeah:
3) will it be okay with the consulates even if im pregnant?
" to those who wants to give their opinions and insights regarding my case you are very much welcome to do so. and to those who have the same pd and case status like mine lets pray without ceasing! :saint:
thanks in advance!

your case hasn't progressed due to retrogression which has affected many nurses. your file was completed one month before retrogression started and you was affected because no visas. i doubt your lawyer had anything to do with it.
having a baby added to your file is easy and many people have done it. there should be no problems and if you have had your baby before your interview make sure you bring birth certificate and any other documentation you have for her
This thread is quiet because there is no movement with visas and we do not expect to see any movement for quite sometime. The US has an 8% unemployment rate and even higher in some areas; this also means that there are many more people that have lost their medical coverage therefore fewer patients in hospitals and less money for the hospitals. If they are having lay-offs or a hiring freeze, then this also includes any foreign nurses as well, they will not be able to start. And if they cannot start, meaning that the employer does not have work for them at this time, then everything gets cancelled out by immigration and one would have to find a new employer and begin the process all over again.
So please be very careful for what you wish for, everything could easily be cancelled out.
Please keep this thread to issues with visas so that it stays on topic.
