I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

This lady claims to tell you the truth and keeps on repeating over and over again of her claims and nothing new about it, so please believe in her and stop bugging of ever coming to america because this is just what she wants....can't you get it!!!!
Please spare this lady of discussing things out of topic and spare her from giving out her unsolicted advise.
unsolicited advise? out of topic??? are you new to this forum or are you just plain %&$@!!!? you have the guts stating that "this lady" does not want anybody to come to america???? are you freakin serious???? read all the previous post and maybe you will realize that this lady helped and is helping a lot, on her own time, people who wants information and reality check.
It's understandable to be frustrated, but this is the reality. Harsh, but true. But it will help you to make an informed decision and not false hope.
I have been reading this thread every now and then since last year and had found out to be very informative.

We dreamers have our own dreams. And of course we do feel bad if things aren't happening the way we want it to happen.
At the end of the day, we must still be thankful to everyone here, at least were done with reality check.
Still lots of prayers for all of us. Let us go back to the main purpose of this thread, to track our cases against all odds. Applicants with PDs of January2005 and earlier, please post the latest developments of your case.

Thanks. To track the cases and making updates was my intent when I started this thread. Believe me it was a long and painful journey, and it's still is and Suzanne was and is always been helpful during the process. Trust me, Suzanne will be the first person who will be happy if the retrogression is over. She is one of a kind, an angel.
I have some news for you guys...I checked my case number on immigrant visa appointment today out of curiosity and to my surprise I have my schedule on it..
I phoned my agency and told me they have not received my appointment letter yet..
I have been in touch with my future employer in the US and they say my offer will stand as long as it takes they admit they may not look to make offers to foreign nurses at the moment but the offers already made will stand in there words my job is theyre for me how ever long it takes and lets not forget the economic downturn is a global situation not just an American situation.

When you say schedule, do you mean consular interview schedule? If this is the case, sometimes you'll know ahead of you employer because you found out because you called them, but your employer will have to wait for the actual paperworks. This what happen to me, I was calling and checking the embassy almost everyday so I found out my schedule as soon as they post it and I was the one who told my employer that I already have my interview schedule so they shud expect the paperworks!
Congrats on your sched but pls, always think about that things might change between now and your interview.... hope for the best but expect for the worst. Your almost there!!!!

American economy has a domino effect to almost everything globally. Offers will be just that, offers, for as long as there are justifiable jobs for foreigners. Watching CNN, and this week, has been the highest unemployment insurance claims since 2001.

Thanks again but sad to say I'm still in limbo because as of today, I have not received the official letter/appointment letter yet to think that "schedule" will be soon already so I'm really wondering if the visa appointment schedule is reliable or what.BTW, I have noticed that the medical exam and interview date is the same.
Dunno what to do...any suggestions please...Thank you..
