NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

Well it says allow 8 weeks for further instruction and that has been nearly 5 weeks so hopefully we will get some good news in the next few weeks, we are just so desperate to get an interview this summer i know if not we should get one before year is out but the time we have waited we just want to get our interview as soon as possible.we should get our interview date before visas become unavailable in July but when you have been waiting as long as us you take nothing for granted

haayyy..... too bad, I didnt make it! ..

hi, guys,

i'm a filipina and i would just like to share some points based on my experience. i have been hit with 2 retrogressions in the past, mainly due to the agency's slow processing. in fact, it cost me to have my eldest son left behind since he turned 21 years old when we were told to submit the 1140 form. and my application with them has been more than a year when they started asking for it! so, it is really better to constantly follow up with your agency and be aware of what step your papers are already in. anyway, i applied direct hiring when a u.s. based hospital personnel came sometime last october, 2005. my family and i were one of those interviewed last year of july, 2007 and weren't issued visa due to the popular "july fiasco" incident. we paid everything and our passports and documents were left for safekeeping in the embassy until visas are current.

we were called to update documents last april 24, 2008, to be specific, nbi clearence and medicals with st. lukes. the medical fee is close to 10K pesos each person, so be aware of the increase. last year we did it at P4,465.00 and we are 5 members applying.

thanks God, we received our visas last may 16, 2008. we were no longer interviewed again and we just passed the additional requirements. after all the wait and financial preparations, we are happy to finally settle in the u.s. :yeah:

also, be sure to accomplish the lacking documents asked by nvc, otherwise your papers will never be forwarded to the embassy for interview.

after all, God is good all the time. good luck to all of us.

Hi. I just received an e-mail from my lawyer telling me that she already received the letter from the NVC and already mailed back the document that they need. I am just worried because, when I read your posts you included in your documents the NBI, 2x2 pic, Xerox of passport and bc( by which I provided my lawyer with).

She only sent the DS23O form because she said that was the only document the NVC stated that they need.

I've been completed twice already at the NVC, this is the 3rd time in case.

I was wondering why is it that I was not required to submit the pictures, xerox of my passport and nbi( although my nbi is just 10 mos old).

Hope to get a response from you.

Thanks.

Hi neneng, same PD here. my agent already emailed me and requiring me to send some docus. I just sent my 2x2 and ds230 with nbi before however, the NVC is asking a photocopy of passport and birth cert. My question is, what kind of birth certificate are we supposed to submit? the one from the NSO? or any authenticated copy from our City Health? I already sent my original docus before hand(SECPA),i didnt get a new one, i submitted a birth cert. which i got 2004, does it matter? or should they require a document from 2008?

One more, do we have to certify the Passport? i mean certified True copy? notarized or what?

hi,

I think it doesnt matter. Is that all that the NVC is asking you to submit? I am worried about mine because they did not ask for any other docs except for the DS230.
