NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

well at this time though slow except that your pd is still current you'll be fine.

YAJRN: what is the date of your PD? Mine is March 23, 2006... do u think they will process my case even if the NVC VB says MARCH 1, 2006? I got the email from NVC that they need addtional docs (dsc230++...) for my case. This could only mean that they already checked my status. What I'm wondering if they will include cases after March 1 to 31 in the processing. Considering that they already send out the request for addtnl documents....

what do u think pips???

pd feb 2006 -- as for yur case i think they will just let you prepare the common docs you should pass in case yur pd will be current. If no movement will happen this time then those with pd of june 2005 will be lucky. As more and more nurses keep on applying for US the hole will be more narrower. Lucky are those whose pd are 2000-2005.

More and more will ba taking Nclex in Manila the more it will retrogress. Suzzanne is really right.!

More luck to all those with 2005 PDs from the th PI. It's another rollercoaster ride.

Yes it does expire especially for immigration purposes. Even if you have not been back it still needs to be valid. With one thing and another I have had to pay a couple of times for UK police checks because they expired and retrogression set in

""E. EMPLOYMENT THIRD PREFERENCE VISA AVAILABILITY

Demand for numbers, primarily by Citizenship and Immigration Services Offices for adjustment of status cases, is expected to bring the Employment Third preference category very close to the annual numerical limit in June. As a result, this category is likely to experience retrogressions or visa unavailability beginning in July. Such action would only be temporary, however, and a complete recovery of the cut-off dates would occur for October, the first month of the new fiscal year. ""

___"" excerpt from the JUNE VB...

too bad.. they already answered our question.. They have reached the quota and dont expect any forward movements in the next EB3 visa bulletin until October or until the start of the next fiscal year.... really disapponting to know that I am a March pd applicant..."so close yet so far!"

Where does it say they are raining visas for AOS? What is actually being said is they are running out of visas for this year and things will slow down until October when the new year starts. As is stands for the June bulletin There is no AOS for EB3 and that will not change for a while.

That sure dampens all the excitement for the interview dates here. :banghead:

Not sure where in the world that you are getting your information from, but there is not one person that was petitioned last summer that has received a green card at all.

There are still some actually waiting that were submitted before the retrogression began in 10/2006 that still do not have the green card.

Please take the time to check your information before posting.
