I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
My case has been current since March 2008 VB, and submitted my updated DS230, NBI and 2x2 pics. I called NVC and they said that they recieve my documents last March 18, and wait for another 8 weeks for the next instructions. I also emailed them and they said that im on the documentarily qualified list.My question is, does it really take 8 weeks? Im already on the 4th week and still no progress on my case? What do think guys?
hi dotph..I guess it would not take 8 wks..it may be anytime from now.just wait for it..you're on your way to green pasture.God bless:smilecoffeecup:

Maybe NVC is taking time on reviewing new docs since they have asked new ones to all current pd's. There are probably a lot ahead of you. But its good that they already have your new forms with them. Just give them time to sort things out and I think you will be interviewed anytime soon:wink2:
May I ask when did your lawyer received the request from the NVC?
Thanks and God Bless you.

Hi dotPH, have you tried calling the automated voice response of NVC? based upon previous experience it only takes about two weeks from receipt of updated documents to case completion. Case completion date is usually stated in their automated voice response not on email. If their recent email states that you are on the documentarily qualified list, then your case must have been completed already. try calling them and let us know what you find out.
Hi people... anybody here who will be current on the May VB who's lawyers already received the request from NVC? I wonder when NVC will be sending these requests to our lawyers. I hope soon so we can send the updated forms and start processing our cases again. As soon as anyone hear from their lawyers, post it in this thread right away.
Thanks everyone... i called the US Embassy Manila to follow-up our case, the call center agent said that it takes around 6 to 8 weeks before they receive the documents from NVC.
@ aga_ph... Just called NVC while ago, the automatic voice response said that my case is completed on March 18, 2008 and please allow 8 weeks for further instructions...

@ jorubs... Nope, i gave them to our case manager and they send it to NVC.
