I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details

USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Mariel, I was looking at your posts about an hour now... I really don't know what to say, its a sad thing.... I dunno if its your lawyers negligence or who's fault it is.... They should have looked at it clearly what are the docs needed. When I talked to the officer in NVC more than a month ago, he told me that only ds230 are missing but when the letter arrived to my lawyer, lawyer asked me to submit nbi, photos, and new passport (hubby's passport expired). I dunno about the ds230. Maybe the ones you submitted are okay.
Hi Leis23!! May I know when did the NVC received your DS230? I've been waiting for my case to get completed, the NVC received my DS230 last July 20th, til now no new message on the phone.PD2006 Aug.

Thanks fruity. You sound really warm & nice.
You know what I'm most worried about now (because I have renewed copies of NBI already plus passport easy to photocopy) is that of my husband's police clearance from another country where he worked for a year. They're asking for it also (expiring this Aug) & when we requested that from that country last year, it took about 3 months before we were sent one. Now that would mean considerable delay for us.
I know everyone here has so much in their own minds--I still wish you & everyone here the best of luck...

I'm sorry about your Mom. Been through the same before. I was Daddy's girl & I lost him to cancer (lymphoma). Hang on, we are all here in this world (no matter what country) for a mission. Sometimes it's just too painful on the way there.
Will pray for your Mom, as we all do for our patients.
Despite the hardships, I'm glad I found forum friends here. Thanks so much.

Oh & BTW our passports aren't even expiring til 2010 & NBI clearances good til Aug2007. Now i'm thinking that since official ds230 forms state it's expiring july 31, 2007, maybe by the time they receive my passport copy & police clearances, they would then ask again for ds230 for the 3rd time. What do i do? anyone knows if there's a new ds230 form out to be used after july 31, 2007? help!
