I tried a diaphram ONCE. Not only did I have a heck of a time getting it in, it felt like I had to p** all night long!

I used a diaphram for years. I have one son to that demonstrates they are not 100% effective LOL.

Got a freebie too a few weeks ago, tried it for 3 weeks (although I don't need it, it was just a try-out) and must say, that initially I run to the bathroom every hour to check the ring. And I felt it. After that I didn't feel a thing, husband neither and it was good I wrote the date to take it out,down with red pen , cause I would have forgotten about the ring!

So yes, not bad at all, I don't know how effective it really is though.

Don'T think it is very practical for young girls, who don't know their bodies too well, and it is certainly nothing for women who don't want to put "things" (ok, laugh out loud all of you!) into their body.

Plus, here the ring is still pretty expensive!

Thanks semstr, at least SOMEONE takes me seriously!

Supposedly, it has a 98-99% success rate, which is higher than the pill if you're like me and forget to take the thing all the time. I could never do the diaphragm thing...like having an umbrella opened in your front bun bun...

I wasn't being mean Kristy. I was simply asking if you'd ever seen a diaphragm. I've honestly only ever seen one in my entire life, and it was freaking huge! Don't know if that's normal or a personal problem for the wearer or what, but it was defiantely bigger than a 50 cent piece!

I myself just stand in front of the microwave for effective birth control.

Let us know all the details about it! I'd like a hubby testimonial too! (and NO! I don't want any freaking peek-tures!)
