Hey everyone! I'm starting this class this semester online and I am very nervous...this will be my first online class! Wanted to make a thread where all of us braving this class this semester can help eachother out, post questions etc. Good luck to you all!

Can we get this sticky?
I'm taking Nutrition this semester, and oddly enough, it is my most difficult class. I have about an A average in both Microbiology and Anatomy, but can't seem to get past a low C on Nutrition quizzes. The class has over 50 students, and the professor just stands up at the front of the class with her microphone and reads Powerpoint slides. She's an older British woman who claims to not know what a study guide is. Her quizzes are very tricky and just about everyone walks out of her class angry. She doesn't really tell us what to study, so it's hard to gauge what to focus on.Our text is Foundations and Clinical Applications of Nutrition, 4th ed., Mosby Press, and there is no companion site. Any suggestions on the best way to study for this class? I had no idea it would be this much of a challenge!
I always felt that study guides were provided by instructors at their discretion. I never once saw a study guide until a few years ago when I started taking/re-taking courses towards pre-nursing at the community college. I would have been as happy as a pig in poop if I was given a study guide during undergrad.
