Nursing Students' Uniforms

I was just wondering if we are required to purchased their clothings through the website that they had privided. I feel safer to try them on instead of going online and order them. I'm a very petite girl and it's hard to find clothes that could easily fits me.

You need the uniforms by (I think) week 6 for your first sim exam. Clinicals start in week 8/9 and go to the end of the term. Your best bet is to order them now from the website. If I recall, it took mine about 6 weeks to get here.

yeah, i ordered mine on july 24th and i still don't have them.

do you have any recs as far as shoes go? i'm thinking i might go to a specialty shop like thegood feet store? haha. i want something that'll last me beyond nursing school and that is very, very comfortable. i get miserable if i'm standing for long periods of time with crappy shoes on (used to waitress and wore crappy shoes... ugh).

I got suckered into the shoes from the uniform place and they pretty much suck. I've heard that the Nike Shox are good. Might get a pair today.

I ordered my uniforms before the deadline and ended up getting them after some people who ordered them late.

I tried on a ton of shoes. I hated all the nursing shoes I tried. I ended up getting all white Nikes from famous footwear. I think they were around $50. Invest in something comfortable.

I went to the hushpuppies store at the st augustine outlets... I found these really strange shoes that would fit our requirements. They WERE SUPER ULTRA comfy! BUt the price of $100 wasnt soo comfy. I left them and decided to see about maybey getting them later.

UNIFORMS ARE IN! Has anyone had any trouble with them? Most of my items were much too big so I had to send them back ( if you have problems be sure to call them immediately- they are very friendly and will be more than happy to help you!)

i didn't get mine yet... but i did get an email confirmation saying that UPS will be sending it soon...

how the heck did it take almost 2 months to send out UNIFORMS? does it take that long to sew on an fccj patch ? lol

Can you buy the patches and just sew them onto generic uniforms? That way you can make sure the uniform fits.

nope... The uniforms have to be from FCCJ. You can buy a lab coat though and sew a patch on that...
