Any suggestions to good shoes to wear from 12 hours shifts. My Nursemates are no good for me. My feet are screaming after 5 hours.
Thanks

HI THERE BROWNBETTY,
I WEAR CLOUD WALKERS (http://WWW.CLOUDWALKERS.COM) THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE. I WEAR THE ALL WHITE SNEAKERS, AS WELL AS THEIR EVERYDAY WEAR SHOES. GO TO THEIR WEB-SITE AND CHECK IT OUT....THEY ARE A LITTLE HIGHER PRICED, BUT THEY ARE SO WORTH IT. LET ME KNOW HOW YOU DO.

I have a pair of Cherokee Rockers Lights (I think) that are slip on. I really like them. I don't have to worry about tying those darn laces all day. The other brand I like is New Balance. Had 2 pairs of those before my Cherokees, liked them also. (Except my shoelaces always come untied ). Get good quality, your feet deserve them and so do you.

Hi......I'm currently wearing Nike Airwalkers.....love em'.
I also have Sketchers Sport Tennis-Shoes...but I think I like the Nike better. I work 12's and have very 'picky' feet too, so it's VERY important that I keep them HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!
Some of my friends are wearing the new clogs and love them...I'm not too sure. I'm afraid if I have to 'run' for a code, I might fall on my rear!
Good luck!

After about year 3 of working two jobs my old feet and heals were giving out! PAIN! Especially going from a resting position to weight bearing! I got some new balance running shoes and WOW! Such a difference!

I used to wear a pair of Nike walkers that killed my feet, especially my heels. I switched to Reebok walking shoes, and it made a world of difference. Now I will only buy Reebok.

I usually wear all white sneakers...crosstrekkers, I think they are called...but just recently ordered some Duralight Rockers...they came in, but were the wrong size, and I had to send them back...haven't gotten them back yet. Loved the feel of them...don't know how they'll do as far as 12 hour shifts, but I'll let ya know!

i love my birkenstocks (bostons). you have to break them in slowly,..wearing them for only a few hours at a time--at first. i just worked 4 12's in a row that were very busy. not once did my feet hurt me. i also have some klogs. they are very comfortable but make my knees hurt after wearing them a couple of days in a row. i used to wear reebok dmx tennis shoes but found after about 6 months the support was totally gone. (i still wear my reeboks at home,...just not for work.) i just like clogs better,.....no shoe strings to tie!!! :)
