Up and down the halls all day----any good remedies for sore tootsies?

A massage? I used to give MYSELF foot massages after marching band practice when I was in high school. I don't know why I don't still do this; at least not very often.

Dr.Scholl's inserts in my shoes have done wonders for my foot-related pain. I hardly have it anymore, but my coworkers think I'm hilarious sometimes because when I'm busy, I'm just flying around the floor as fast as my feet can carry me. I guess my point is simply those inserts rock. You can find for them for $7 or $8 at a drug store. Also, acupressure is quite a wonderful thing. I've been going to someone lately who is really good. It helps me chill out which in turn probably helps my tootsies. If you find a place that does a good pedicure, they usually will massage your feet too.

If you can afford it, Brookstone sells the most marvelous foot massager for $250. Another thing that helps is to dangle your feet in the bathtub and alternate running the hottest and coldest water that you can stand over them. Foot soaks help, too.

Start gellin'! And be sure you have a good pair of shoes. A good foot bath will help too. My foot spa is one of the best gifts my husband ever gave me!

I swear by Dr Scholl inserts with the arch support! After being on my feet for almost 10 hours a day, my feet dont hurt, and neither does my lower back!

I have a wonderful 10 year old son that WANTS to massage my back and feet when I get home from work. Really helps as I have developed plantar facitis since ankle surgery 18 months ago.

I'll rent him out for M&Ms.:lol2:

All great advice above!

The Body Shoppe makes a foot lotion that has sea salts and peppermint!

Once you have used peppermint foot lotion, you never look back!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really soothes and cools ;)

I use Dr. Schol's (sp, sorry) Peppermint foot lotion. It is heaven after a clinical day. Also there is nothing better than a foot rub for my wonderful husband :)

I found some great shoes (easy spirit III's) that fit wonderfully and have gel inserts inside. It is like I am bouncing when I walk! AHHHHHHHH!

And, I just recently found dry patches and caluses on my feet and hated it, and same with hubby (paramedic) so we now treat our feet with pumice, and massage with a cool mint foot lotion...and even do a little pedicure! We have been doing this every other day for a month now..and we have some great feet now! And *giggle* I enjoy the funky nail polishes I can get away with because they are covered by socks at work..LOL! Today...purple and blue sparkles!!!!! LOL!!!!!! (my hubby doesn't go for the nail polish on his though..LOL!).
