Shoes...omg my feet are in heaven!!

Nurses Uniform/Gear

I am sure there are probably already posts recommending these. But, today I went out and bought myself a pair of Crocs thanks to my hubby who raved how good they were suppose to be. After trying them on he bought a pair also. I wish they would have been available years ago. These have to be the most comfortable shoes that have ever been on my poor tired over worked feet. If you haven't tried these yet do yourself and your feet a favor and go get a pair.

I do have a question though to anyone who has worn these for awhile. How well do they hold up work wise? I know the guy at the place I got them from says they sell alot to nurses and his he says the ones he had on are the only pair of shoes he has worn since buying them and they still looked practically new after 6 months.

Ok, I want to start a petition. For those of you who love Crocs and those of you yet to try them because they don't have a full-coverage shoe. Email Crocs at...

...telling them how much we enjoy their shoes but sadly many of us are unable to wear them do to dress codes and safety issues because of the opened backs. And, ask that they consider making a full-coverage shoe in the future. They already have a large consumer base in the health care field. If enough of us contact them requesting this they may see a market potential in creating a full-coverage shoe.

Yes, I know this is alittle over-the-top and a long shot but if you have had the opportunity to wear these things for an entire day standing on your feet you would understand. And, I was always told...you never know what you can make happen if you don't try.

2 thumbs up for Crocs, I wear them for clinicals and at work. LOVE THEM and will never buy another pair of shoes again.

The girl at the shoe store said the Crocs are re-designing several of their styles and they will be out this summer/early fall. She said she "heard" a possible totally closed shoe....so....maybe :-)

:chuckle I just went to the website and ordered a pair of Crocs. Hope they wear as good as you say.

i also have merrells and so far they have been the best shoes. hope these crocs are as comfortable.

Did you ever purchase them? I'm in the market for new shoes :uhoh3:

Thanks for the Link!

I have heard a lot of great things about MBT shoes :balloons: I would love to get a pair! They are expensive 200 - 300 dollars! So I'll wear my $50 New Balance untill I can afford to get a pair. Have a good day :)

As far as the Crocs go...I must be the only one who doesn't really like these all that well. Granted, I do not own a pair and I have not worn them around all day! However, I tried them on in the store and they were comfortable, but the sizing is horrible! The small was too small and the medium was way too big. Also, it didn't feel like they were all that supportive. Anyone else feel this way? I think I'll stick to my Danskos for now!

Anyone try the highland or metro models? t.

I just purchased the highlands in white, the ones that have no holes, they came today and are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. We will see how they hold up, I am hard on shoes and used to wear nursemates which never lasted more than 6 months. But I love them already, hopefully the little nubbys on the inside do not wear down quickly. I am clumsly and also like the fact they have a removable back strap.

I paid $40.90 plus shipping, I tried to order from the crocs website but could not get it to work, I gave up and ordered them from

http://www.nofeargear.com-- they shipped them that day and they came four days later.

My feet are also wide, my highland crocs fit with room to wiggle, I am debating buying a pair of their sandals as well for my days off
