I think I remembered seeing a similar thread for 2014 and thought it would be fun to meet up with others who are at the same point in their journey to make some friends!
What classes/entrance exams do you have left?
I'm currently halfway through Winter quarter taking A&P II and Sociology, for Spring quarter my last class will be Microbiology. I also need to take the TEAS test in the Spring as well.
When will you begin submitting applications?
I'll start submitting my applications as soon as I have registered and paid in full for my Microbiology class (within the next few weeks).
How many programs will you be applying to?
3! I have other options I can try if those don't work out.
Have you already been accepted into a program?
Nope! I do think I have a very good shot at a couple of the schools I am applying to though!

This is my last semester of pre-reqs. I'm taking Physiology, Nutrition, American Lit. and Intermediate French. The french class is killing me oh my goodness...

I submitted my application to UNC last December! I'm anxiously awaiting news, it's my #1 choice.
How many programs will you be applying to?
I hear back in March, so hopefully by then I won't have to apply to more schools . But if it doesn't work out I have 3 more nursing schools on the radar with April deadlines.

When will you begin submitting applications? As soon as I passed the HESI I submitted my application.
How many programs will you be applying to? I only applied to this one program; however, if I didn't get a spot I still had time to take the PAX and apply at another school that's further away.
Have you already been accepted into a program? Praise the Lord YES!! =D Just found out Wednesday that I got one of only 32 spots (with an average of over 400 applicants each year)!!! I'm totally excited and nervous at the same time!! The plan is RN 2017; BSN 2018; MSN/CNM 2021

GRATS MLDJ1970!!!! You must have worked really hard to beat out all of that competition :) When do you start??
LOL ya, I feel ya.....I was talking to a friend of mine who is already a nurse and I asked her if there was a lot of competition for L&D positions at the hospital she works at ( because of course I think EVERYONE wants to be a babycatcher!! lol ) and she said, "No way---no one wants to work over there, they're always short-handed!!" (
I have completed all of my pre-requisites and have nothing else to take so I'm not taking any classes at the moment, I'm taking a break from school until.....

I have already submitted one application for an LVN program. Unfortunately, there are no other LVN programs in my area so I don't have any other options.

Well, about 2 years ago I applied into RN programs because that's what I was going for first, I applied to 2 of them. One of them (which is the CC I'm enrolled in) rejected me, but I got accepted into the other program. HOWEVER, that program has a waiting list of like 4-5 years! I'm not going to just sit around and do nothing while I start a program so that's why I decided to get a few other classes done so I can try and do LVN first. Hope I get into this one!
I'm taking A&P 1, still have A&P 2 and Micro to take but the schools don't require or give extra points for having them done before applying. I've taken the Teas

I wish, 2 of the schools I should hear from by the middle of March, the third I'm not sure as their deadline isn't till Feb 28th.
. But if it doesn't work out I have 3 more nursing schools on the radar with April deadlines.

When will you begin submitting applications?
Applications are due beginning of May. As soon as I finish this semester, I have to submit my application with transcripts.
How many programs will you be applying to?
Only one. So I am hoping to get in. So nervous but I think I will get in. I hope.
Have you already been accepted into a program?
Nope! Application are due May 14. So letters wont be going out till end of May.
