I am a NICU RN with about 12 years of RN experience, currently working in Denver. I'm thinking about moving to Indiana, but need to make sure I can afford it! I'm from Indiana, but haven't worked there in about 10 years. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me an approx. hourly rate for someone with experience? Thanks.

I would guess $30+ hourly, with 12 years' experience.

We have low cost of living and low tax rates! New grads start out at about $20-$22 depending on the location.

Cost of living is VERY low. I work in Indy, live in Lebanon. 1600 SF home in a 10 year old subdivision = $130K. Low taxes. I am an experienced RN and make $35/ hour base plus 12% night and 12% weekend differential. Plenty of nursing and other jobs.
