Hi i wanted to know when taking remedial classes as math ,reading i wanted to do you get credits for that.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Depends on how remedial. If basic HS level math/language arts often numbered as math011 or lit012 quite often no credit is given towards graduation but the classes usually count as credit for financial aid purposes.

Freshman level classes are usually 100, sophomore 200 etc.

The best source is your school catalog or registrar.

Specializes in L&D, infusion, urology.

You won't get transferable credits below a certain level. Only units that are considered transferable will count toward your degree. You'll have to see how your school numbers their classes, which usually will tell you which ones are transferable.

Specializes in ICU.

Any class that is a zero hundred level class will not count. It's a pain, I know, as I had to take remedial algebra. But you gotta take them.
