Passed NC 3. Four more NC tests to go. I plan to finish them in the next few weeks.

Would hardly call it a cakewalk...only way to describe it is 'doable.'

I'll be studying day and night from now on.

You go girl! My EC package is still sitting here because I know how much it will entail. Maybe I'll wait until you get through the CPNE so you can tell me what its like. I'll decide then.:rotfl:

Hey cat, you wouldn't want any advice from someone as cocky and arrogant as me, who couldn't possibly be a very safe RN because I was able to pass some of the exams without much studying...how could someone like me know anything? :uhoh3:

Is that the kind of stuff people say? That's baloney, if that's the case. You have to have some serious initiative and intelligence to not only knock out those tests but to be smart enough to bypass let's see, um, thousands of extra dollars in tuition, clinical commutes to OshKosh, whiney classmates, stupid group projects where you do all the work alone, demonic instructors, wait lists, lotteries...those are just the things that come to mind. If you're smart enough to have figured out that much of the crap in nursing school is is just that and you did it while sitting in your fuzzy slippers with your laptop - then I say it again, You Go Girl! Keep us informed of your progress. I'm sure you'll knock that CPNE right out of the ball park.

Thank you so much. Yes, that's what some of our fellow compassionate and caring nurses are saying, though I believe that when they are saying these things they say more about themselves than they do me. I think what we have in this case is a prime example of nurses eating their young. Such a shame. Good thing I'm able to consider the source and that I'm pretty resilient to such petty and callous remarks.

congrats!!!... :balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons:

and don't worry about others. it is so said that people who want to call themselves grown, can be so bitter at someone else's success. go luck on your next 4, and on the cpne. you detication, and your ambitious, attitude just goes to show that you will be a great rn. i just hope that some people can accept others being in the spotlight, and if they don't like it to make themselves shine instead of trying to tear someone else down. but as i said before congrats and good luck!!!...
