Does anyone have a recommendation for an accredited online RN -> BSN program that doesn't include a clinical component?

Most of the online RN-BSN programs do not include 'clinical'. They may have a community health project or equivalent, but it's not 'clinical' - I know the one I did (), you just had to go out and interview people regarding a community health issue.

Thank you, featherz!

Is that Western Governors University?

Would you recommend WGU?

I loved ! But there are other options out there as well - and all the online programs I know about would not have a clinical. Good luck, whatever you decide. :)

Specializes in Critical Care, Education.

Most RN-BSN programs do not have a clinical practicum because the scope of this education (ADN-BSN) does not include acquisition of additional CLINICAL skills. Educational practicums (hands-on) are only indicated if the student is mastering a new skill that needs to be practiced and observed. RN-BSN focuses on acquisition of additional knowledge.

Same here! But think the ones listed above are cheaper than Excelsior.
