Just spotted it on My Details page, about 11 pages of changes. I know this won't affect the first group going in but just wanted to heads up to those who may be studying for later fall dates.

I have an email from EC saying that these changes go into effect as of October 7th, so just an FYI for those testing Oct 7th and beyond. I think I heard the biggest changes have to do w/careplans.

I am going to incorporate these changes into my study because I still don't have a date, and my advisor told me that I won't be docked for doing the changes to the study guide early. I won't likely have a date for another 3 weeks, and it will likely be Nov. but I am still hoping for a cancel (I will be happy with Oct at this point!) Those applying for NPAC may very well be safe with the 17th edition.

I just received as well...biggest change seems to be NCP. Both NCP's must be actual ..no risk for dx's. Seems to be a couple changes to lab and comfort management..ill keep reading. My test date is 12/16.

I thought there were some changes mentioned for fluid management as well? Not sure. The summary of changes has been out for a while, apparently, but this is the first look at the whole enchilada. Good luck!!

There are changes with fluid management, I wrote down little notes from the summary; One thing is we need to document the volume to infuse, drip rate, ml per hr on ICD before we begin IV among some of the changes.
