IU Health investigating controversial tweet by employee - Local News - 13 WTHR Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Controversial social media posts investigated by IU Health has led to the woman who posted them losing her job with the hospital.

The hospital released a statement Sunday afternoon: "A recently hired IU Health employee tied to troubling posts on social media this weekend is no longer an employee of IU Health."

Below is a screen shot of the tweet with an offensive word blurred out:

A spokesperson for IU Health on Saturday addressed the Twitter post: IU Health is aware of several troubling posts on social media which appear to be from a recently hired IU Health employee. Our HR department continues to investigate the situation and the authenticity of the posts. During the investigation, that employee will have no access to patient care.”

Yeah I suppose so but unfortunatey it seems to take a classic turn into the ditch. I wouldn't be surprised if there is more than hate going on, just saying.

But the article stated she was just licensed as a RN October 30th. She was previously an LPN.

She might have been an LPN at Riley's Children's, and then once an RN worked at the Methodist hospital. The other poster might actually have worked with her in pediatrics when she was an LPN and since both hospitals are apart of IU's system, the whole system got looked at for social media.
