nursing magazine info please

I am a first year nursing student and I am interested in subscibing to some kind of nursing magazine. I thought maybe some of you might know of some good ones to try or bad ones to avoid.

Thank you for all your suggestions. I have read a copy of RN and RN 2005. They seem pretty good. I would like to find out where to get the Incredibly Easy at. Do bookstores carry stuff like this or is there a web site to visit.

I just did a Google search for it. I can't remember who publishes it, but they do a lot of books and mags.

the same people who publish nursing 2005 publish nursing made easy.......we have a poster with both subcription cards attached to it, so they must be by the same publisher

I like "Incredibly Easy" also. That was the first one I subbed to. When I was accepted to my current program, we were required to sub to "RN". I also subbed to "Nursing2005" for good measure.

I just wish I had a way, or knew of a site, that cataloged different articles on different subjects. I'd hate to KNOW I read an article about shunts (like in a current issue), and then not know which mag or issue to find it in.

They have a number of different articles that you can "pay per view" :)

They come from a variety of magazines. So, since you have the magazines, you could just look up the subject and see which magazine it was in. It was actually through looking at the different article names and where they came from that prompted me to get a subscription to "Made Incredibly Easy".

I subscribe to that mag. It is really good and I recommend it for anyone.

Your facility library should have a variety of nursing magazines. We do at our university and the students can sign them out.

YES! Nursing Incredibly Easy! Not only get the mag...but get the books~! Those really helped me in nursing school, and I feel they are more down to earth and fun! Definately worth the cost...our DON prints out articles from them all the time to hand out (and she gives me the mags she has read so I don't need to get the subscription...lucky me!).

I had a subscription to AJN...think I broke the binding on one or two...and never really looked at them again. Excellent info in those but much of the time I would rather spend my time reading something more fun...LOL!
