Does anyone know anything about this new journal?
Is it worth subscribing to?

I have used the book "Assessment Made Incredibly Easy" and really liked it, but I've not seen a copy of the journal.

I took my IV cert and used "IVs made incredibly easy." I didn't find this to be so. Maybe I didn't concentrate well.

I subscribed to it for about a year- it has some good articles, mostly the patho of a disease, and nursing treatments, 'made simple'. Easy to read, and good information. It's a quarterly, I think. I'd keep subscribing, but I am in school...it's expensive for me.

I'm not sure how new it is; I subscribed about a year and a half ago. I just got the one year as a school investment :) I *DID* find that while in school, it often touched on subjects I was studying then and really DID like the way the material was broken down. For a student, I found it valuable. For a practicing nurse, I'm not sure it'd be worth much, but that's just my opinion.

I find it very usefull as part of a total profesional development program. It presents disease process in a light, easily understood format that doesn't take a lot of hard core brain power to understand. I wouldn't use it as the only journal I read though. I'd also subscribe to one of the research journals or specialty journals.
If you have to choose one journal, I'd choose nursing or RN magazine. They provide a more comprehensive and brouder coverage of nursing and nursing topics.

I realize this thread is from 2006, but find it incredibly helpful! I am interested in finding both an educational/research journal and a more student-oriented journal. Thank you!
