Sooooooooooooo...I was finally approved to take my boards in Virginia as an LPN passed and then had to immediately transfer to CALI and I have been denied. The denial letter says I can request a hearing but what does that do? I mean they told me no so wont they tell me no again ????

Im confused what do you mean

? I do not have any felony convictions.

So, what was the outcome of the DUI? I assumed you were convicted otherwise you would not have been denied.

DUI in not a felony in my state, unless you somebody gets seriously hurt

Wow.....just wow!

My former brother-in-law killed someone drunk driving. I have strong feelings about the subject, obviously.

You can get your license in ca don't give up! The board frequently denies on the initial application. Set a hearing and prepare a case for yourself with letters of recommendation from employers or places where you have volunteered. Be prepared to explain to the board how you have changed and why you should be granted you license.
