Moving to Houston - looking for per diem - help!

Hi Nurses! I'm moving to Houston this summer and do not want to work full time for awhile. I have long term care, hospice, and psych experience - both as direct care nurse and leadership. What are good agencies in the area where I can do some work as I get to know my new home?

The larger hospital systems have their own internal agencies, so you may want to check with their HR departments or nurse recruiters to see if they're hiring. With your psych experience, I encourage you to contact the Menninger folks - I'm sure that they also have PRN positions available.

Welcome to my town!!! It's unfortunate that you'll be moving in the summer. As you scurry from your airconditioned car to an airconditioned building, just remember that those "jungle hot" months won't last forever.... it'll cool off in October.
