I am! MD Anderson just posted their GN residency for the Spring as did St. Lukes.

I'll have my ADN, so unfortunately St. Lukes is not an option for me. I was planning on applying for the M.D. Anderson internship though. I have not seen any information on the website about the upcoming internship other than the basic information and a number for the Recruiting Department. Do you know when the due date for M.D. Anderson applications is?

Levy - if you are licensed or going to be licensed in the state of Texas by the time the Internship starts I don't see why you could not apply.

Commonsense, Methodist, Memorial Hermann, St Lukes, Park Plaza all have the internship open, but they ALL require that you have BSN, I am an ADN so i gave up on them till i get my BSN. in the mean time, you might want to look at small LTACs like Kindred, Healthsouth and Atrium, from time to time they hire new Grads and they train for approximatly 3 months. Good Luck

I know Memorial Hermann doesn't require a B.S.N., at least according to their website. Where are you getting all your info on these internships being open?

I have an Indeed.com app that updates on my phone whenever there are RN openings within the Houston area (that's how I get all the Info.) However, Memorial hermann have closed the Internship opening, the rest of the hospitals are still open, they have been for the last 20 days. Methodist have a Student nurse position open

Memorial hermann closed the internship opening? Are you talking about the June internship or the January internship?

Am talking about summer 2012 (June), they had it as June 2011 Nursing internship for a few days, and they also had one for new grad rn. that was on for a while.

Have you spoken to HR about this, I'm pretty sure the summer 2012 internship will stay open til at least early march, they did their interviews in December for the January internship. If that's the time frame they should be doing April/May interviews for the summer internship.

I saw that memorial hermann posting- I think it was a mistake. They will probably open their summer internship application around March time. I just check the hospitals sites to see what job openings they have. I found MD Andersons by going to their career tab and searching nurse residency. Has anyone applied to WOmans Hospital and heard from them? I applied and still havent heard anything..
