Nursing insurance

I have called my regular insurance company and they want to charge almost $400 a yr for RN and it only covers $250,000/750,000! Then I went to nso.com and they quoted me $108/yr for $1,000,000/6,000,000 coverage. Is there any reason that I shouldn't use nso?

I have NSO as well, and I think I pay somewhere around $150 annually for 6mil in coverage. In fact, I have to renew that this month.

NSO is probably the most popular choices for nursing . Private insurance companies that don't specialize in it can charge more, so they do. Doesn't mean you have to pay it :)

I think because they represent more nurses they are able to charge less. I do not have any idea how well they represent beneficiaries.
