I have called my regular insurance company and they want to charge almost $400 a yr for RN Liability Insurance and it only covers $250,000/750,000! Then I went to nso.com and they quoted me $108/yr for $1,000,000/6,000,000 coverage. Is there any reason that I shouldn't use nso?
NSO is probably the most popular choices for nursing malpractice insurance. Private insurance companies that don't specialize in it can charge more, so they do. Doesn't mean you have to pay it :)
