I would like to hear where you guys got your MSN clinical informatics degree from. I live in northern california and strongly considering Getting my msn Online. My Hospital is currently reimbursing MSN student loans and clinical informatics is my passion. I work in ICU and currently a superuser for our EHR and have been helping educate/train end user. Any inputs is much appreciated.🙂

I completed Excelsior's MSN in 2015. Great program! Non-profit school that is very military-friendly.

DNP from the University of Minnesota. It's an excellent program that has most of the learning online. They do require some commitment to be onsite each semester, but it is now during a 4 day per semester timeframe to accommodate people coming in from out-of-state.

I am currently in the RN-MSN Leadsership at , and just got through the BSN portion, I'm planning to switch to Informatics, still have MSN core to complete which is common to the different MSN tracks.

I currently attend RN-MSN program and just now planning to switch from leadership concentration to informatics (just got through BSN part of program) so I can't tell you about finding a job post grad, however, I can tell you about WGU. I really love WGU, it inexpensive ($3400 per 6 month term), you can add classes without incurring more tuition if you complete your assigned term courses early, work at your own pace, and you get an assigned student mentor throughout the program who gives you support and helps to keep you on track as well as course mentors for each specific course.

What's the tuition at Excelsior?

As an active duty Army nurse, my tuition was $250/credit hour and later went up to $275/credit hour. Veterans and family members are also eligible for reduced tuition. But if you are happy with , staying there makes more sense!
