I am taking my entrance exam on Saturday and I am really beginning to stress out. It has been 12 years since I have been in school and I do not really know what to expect. I have bought 3 study guides and have been going over them for 2 months but would like a little input.

i had been out of school for the past 5 years, i also did the review books for about 2 months and SURPRISE ended up scoring in the 80th percentile in one section and the 90th percentile in the last 3 sections.
most of the questions are pretty common sence...
GOOD LUCK!

Try not to worry about it too much. I'm sure that you are preparing well with all the studying you are doing. I am such a dummy that when I was told I had to take the nursing entrance exam, I just said ok, when is it?, paid for it, and showed up! I didn't even know what was going to be on it, and I didn't even think to ask! DUH, right? Well, fortunately, I passed!

I just would like to know if there is a book or something that will help me pass the Net exam. I am planning on taking the test soon. :)

I took the NLN recently, and there are books out there for each. Try a search on eBay or half.com. (No need getting a new book, right?) For the most part, these tests are going to cover general knowledge of science, math, and reading comprehension. They may delve into more specific areas to test your knowledge in certain areas -- I know that the NLN science portion had a LOT on the basic of electricity, which (no pun intended!) threw me for a loop! :chuckle
I say brush up on basic math - algebra and geometry - if you haven't done any for a while. Basically the stuff you were taught in HS but don't use everyday.
And Good Luck!!
