This is my last resort to getting some help T_T
I had a patient who's mom was getting frustrated because the residents were saying different things to the mother, and because they still couldn't come up with a diagnosis.
She voiced her opinion very strongly, and cried afterward. The son (the patient) also took part in the conversation, but it was mainly the mom.
What's a good nursing diagnosis for this?

Welcome to AN seeing this is your first post. We won't do your homework for you, we will help you AFTER we see what you have thought out. So- What do you have? We like to see your thought process. Got your NANDA book ready? Why don't you list 3 possible dx? You gave us very limited info, BTW.

OP look up the NANDA nursing diagnosis list, you will find almost any possible label you can find. From there type that label into google and put "r/t" after and you should find some risk factors, manifestations, goals/outcomes, and interventions. Like the above poster stated i'm not going to do your homework for you and the answer (with the info i've given you now) will take you but a few minutes to achieve.

This is your last resort? You may need to quit school. You are asking for people you do not know who may or may not even be nurses (RNs? CNA? LPN? 1 year nurse...20 years) to do your home work as a "last resort". Good luck man.

Please describe your assessment of the pt.
One particular psycho-social dx comes to mind.
But we, here on AN aren't here to give you answers, but to help you learn how to find the answers.
PS, HINT! in my school, psycho-social dx aren't the priority unless there are no ABCs or Pain or Safety issues.
