nursing class website

Hi, my class would like to set up some sort of class website, where we can post class content like notes taken in class to help those that need it, hold discussions, post pics etc. I thought about creating a Facebook group page but wasnt sure if our class notes could be posted. Does anyone know of a site other than Facebook we could use to set something up on, or does anyone know more about setting something up on Facebook?

You could create a google group....but I would double check with your school first.

A group representing them (your class, represents them) on the internet, could make them unhappy. There could also be academic dishonesty issues, depending on what you posted. Better to find out they're unhappy about this kind of thing ahead of time, instead of the creators of the site getting kicked out due to policy violations.

I did check with our school administrators and creating either a website or facebook group page is not a problem. My class decided on a facebook group page since its simple to use and most of us are on facebook anyways. Whats really good is that we set the group to private so the only people that can see it are members only and you can only be a member if we invite you or by you requesting. So far so good, its looking great and everyone seems to really enjoy it:D
