Hi everyone! My name is Tori. I created this page for those interested in the summer 2018 nurse residency program at Medical Center in Nashville, TN. We can use this page as a place to share application tips, updates on the status of applications/interviews, tips for the entire application/interview process, etc. And of course, it's great to speak with others going through the same experience!

I just received an offer for the Cardiac Stepdown track, but declined it because I will be working at Centennial on a neuro unit. Congrats to everyone who has gotten an offer!

Does anyone know about housing? I will be relocating from California. Hoping for a House for me and my service dogs. Is there a property management company or something similar in the area? Thanks in advance!

So, my people from out of state, how are you signing up for the NCLEX? i am so confused. Please help! I am from a compact state but i am not sure if that means anything.

Through the state board of nursing for your state. Then your license will transfer to another compact state. At least that's what I've heard and I am also coming from another compact state

Is anyone else from a non-compact state and has applied for a single-state TN license? Just trying to make sure I didn't mess anything up!

I will be, you will still have your non-compact license as well as the one for TN! I can provide you a link where I found the info if you want more info on it!
