Hi everyone! My name is Tori. I created this page for those interested in the summer 2018 nurse residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. We can use this page as a place to share application tips, updates on the status of applications/interviews, tips for the entire application/interview process, etc. And of course, it's great to speak with others going through the same experience!

After receiving "received . . . congrats" email from VUMC, has anyone received further instruction regarding immunization etc. or next steps toward employment? Just wondering . . . lol

make an account on TN State Department of Health website and then there is a checklist. You cant submit your application until they receive your final transcripts from your college/graduate. But you can get fingerprinted and sign up for the NCLEX now!

I was on the waitlist for like 3 days and received my update on April 27. I know Tracey said you'll hear back by mid June though

I meant to post an update. I was on the waitlist and received an offer for adult acute surgical last week. I have declined it as I have a different offer that will also pay back student loans, so I ended up taking that. Good luck to anyone still waiting and to everyone on the NCLEX!
