Nursing acceptance letter to Chicago City Colleges(Truman, Daley, or Malcolm X)

Did any prenursing students receive acceptance letters from any of Chicago City Colleges yet? I have not receive mine and just trying to get an idea.

I tried calling Truman, Malcolm X, and Daley, just out of curiosity--to ask if they are going to notify people today. Isn't that interesting, not one of them is answering the phones--all on voice mail. What a surprise! That either means they are being inundated with calls (some of us DO care????) or they don't want to let us know that we surely are NOT going to be hearing from them any time soon. Which do you think??

Just spoke with Dr. Gurney. Asked about notifications re: nursing program. Said she is "typing them as we speak." Good luck to all.

Do you know if both acceptance and rejection emails will be sent?

If they are typing them manually thar could take forever considering the number of applicants. I hope they have some sort of automated system in place...

one question. which email is ccc using to notify us?? the email we put on our application or CCC email?

I would check both to be on the safe side. Your ccc address would be easier 'cause it's already in the system. I have my ccc email forwarded to my personal acct so I don't have to check it all the time.

Ha ha. I was wondering about the "typing as we speak" comment myself--I assume she isn't typing over 2000 emails. I was uncomfortable asking any more questions. Frankly, I was shocked she answered the phone. I asked if notifications would be going out today, and that was her answer. I couldn't react fast enough (I am really nervous over here) to ask her further questions. Perhaps someone else would like to do the honors........

I hope you get through. If I remember correctly, she said the CCC address would be notified. Mine is also forwarded to my home email cos I can't access the CCC email out of my home computer for some reason. I am at work, but I am taking breaks constantly to check......I am not going to get paid much today, but I am all wound up and don't really want to work today anyway.
