Nursing acceptance letter to Chicago City Colleges(Truman, Daley, or Malcolm X)

Did any prenursing students receive acceptance letters from any of Chicago City Colleges yet? I have not receive mine and just trying to get an idea.

CCC office told me that all students ACCEPTED will get emails today. Not accepted will get emails tomorrow and the next day EEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!! This had better not be true.

This is ridiculous. What is the standard that they base acceptance on? There is nothing definitive out there. One person says one thing, another says another. The old saying don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing applies to this process and the CCC "Overhaul."

I hate this waiting game, I hate the fact that the rules constantly change. I hate the fact that I jump through all these hoops and still nothing. Arghh!!

3:35 and no word yet. If I don't get in I want to see what 800 plus students have that I don't have....

I just talked to Vanesha Harris at Truman. She said that the district's goal was to get all emails out by 4 or 5 today. She said to call her tomorrow at 930 if I haven't received an email yet. She couldn't confirm or deny whether rejections were being sent today or tomorrow. According to her they know nothing about what the district is doing about rejections or whether they will stay late to get all emails out tonight.

Typical. If I'm not accepted, I am going to require full transparency of the selection process. I find it hard to believe that 800 other people had a better gpa than me.

Erica at the CCC office said they haven't finished sending out Acceptance letters yet. She said they will be sent today.

I spoke to Erica too. Apparently, they have ONE person working on sending out the e-mails and it appears that she's going through stacks of accepted applications at a time. So fear not as she's still working on it. I'm still waititng for my e-mail =(

Got my email at 18:30 this evening, accepted to Truman. I have all pre-reqs, all the post-reqs, and A's in everything.
