Nurses Top List for Honesty!

I found this article and I to the nurses. It is not because I'm a nurse too, but because I was once a patient too. When I was hospitalized, I really thanked God for Nurses. They were very dependable and trustworthy. They always show their patients that they're just a call away.

Here's the article... (WebMD) Nurses are America's most honest and ethical professionals, according to a new Gallup survey. Nearly 80 percent of the annual poll's participants ranked nurses "very high" or "high" for honesty and ethics.

More than 1,000 adults took part in the November phone survey. They were asked to rate the honesty and ethical standards of various professions as "very high," "high," "average," "low," or "very low."

Nurses have been in the winner's circle before. They've traditionally ranked at or near the top of the list of professionals that the public holds in high regard. Each year the list rotates approximately 20 professions, and nurses have held their high position in the listing since they were added to the poll in 1999, except for one year. In 2001, firefighters were rated No. 1 after their heroic acts during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. To read more click the link below:

That doesn't surprise me much. Many pts may value a doctor's opinion, but in some instances, the bedside manner lacks the respect needed to be higher on the list.

What does surprise me, and is very sad, is the fact that how many beat clergy. Geeze, if you can trust clergy now days, you can't trust anyone. How sad......

Now, to me, the fact that a car saleman and politician only ranked 1% difference. :chuckle What.....you can't trust politicians?????? :rotfl:
