Nurse Residencies in Charlotte, NC

Hi!

I'm applying to nurse residencies at Novant and Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC and just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with these programs. What the interview process looked like, how you like the hospital, etc?

Especially, what pay do new grad nurses at these hospitals start at?

Just checked my Novant portal and I had applied to all 4 markets. Charlotte updated on 02/15 "Not Selected" but the 3 other markets had "Hiring Manager considering interview" then just now Rowan market updated to "Offered in Other Market"....so confused because I haven't heard from anyone?? Guess it could be Winston or Wilmington?  Anyone else had updates on their portal?

Mine still says under consideration and it changed to that one the 15th

Congrats I guess?? No, mine hasn't changed!

No congrats yet, with my luck someone clicked the wrong box cause still no call or email ? Keep checking your portal cause I did get a "not selected" from Charlotte. Hopefully, no change means they are still considering you!

The recruiter from Charlotte has to do all of the offers form Charlotte area so that’s why it’s taking so long! But she’s super nice when I talked to her. She has already gotten through pediatrics offers and she said next she was going to work on womens! She said it’s gonna take all week so I wouldn’t worry

I wonder if thats the same for the Winston salem area. Either way it makes me feel alot better

I got a call on Monday that I was accepted into the critical care track for Charlotte! And I interviewed on 2/01.
