Nurse Residencies in Charlotte, NC

Hi!

I'm applying to nurse residencies at Novant and Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC and just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with these programs. What the interview process looked like, how you like the hospital, etc?

Especially, what pay do new grad nurses at these hospitals start at?

Hey I applied to both residencies as well. I went to Novant information session and I also got an interview on Jan 31st, from what I heard I believe they will be asking questions like Why do you want to work at Novant? Why did you choose your specialty? Stuff like that. They said it’s 30 minutes maybe less. In the information session they said the pay was $28 an hour and it’s possible that it is changing and increasing soon. I haven’t heard from Atrium yet.

Hi,

I applied to Novant and Atrium when they first opened up the applications in December. I’m applying for Summer 2022, and I’m hoping to get into the womens track as well!! I have an interview for both soon! Would y’all want to possibly start a facebook group. I would be coming from Virginia too.

yes my interview is on Monday, im nervous yes lets make a facebook group and connect. I havent heard from Atrium yet. But I did apply to Novant as soon as they opened.

I am coming from Ohio and I am definitely all for a facebook group! Do you guys know what the interviews at Atrium are like?

I had my interview for Novant on Monday. She said I should hear back week of Valentine’s Day! Fingers crossed
