Nurse Residencies in Charlotte, NC

Hi!

I'm applying to nurse residencies at Novant and Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC and just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with these programs. What the interview process looked like, how you like the hospital, etc?

Especially, what pay do new grad nurses at these hospitals start at?

I was hoping for pediatrics but I guess I didn’t get it! Hoping to get womens which was my second!

I interviewed on the 9th and mine says under consideration. What about you?

I interviewed on 1/31 and mine hasn't changed since 1/27 it says hiring manager considering interview. so IDK what is going on when I had my interview already.

Hi guys! I only applied to Atrium. I got an interview and then a few days later they offered me the job and I accepted it! My application online still says under consideration even though I was offered the job and accepted it. So, do not let that discourage you! Also, I am going into ICU and it seems like a few of you want Maternity and PEDS. They might do interviews later and differently! Do not lose hope! I did not apply to novant so I cannot speak on how their process is. 

Are you guys from the area? I am coming from out of state.

Hey! I applied to Atrium and Novant and have received a couple of offers from Atrium, but still haven't heard back from Novant and I interviewed on 2/1.
