Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Brother, it may be confusing but it's just easy. Make sure that on your coe and cv, your job title or position always includes "registered nurse". Hoping this would help :)

hi annie! already sent you an email. and btw, ive already sent them the course description last feb. which stated the language used for instruction (english). Do I have to resend it?

Hello again --- anyone here who sent their application to AAON? Any feedback? Have you completed the vaccination/immunization prior to sending your application? TIA for replies :)

Hi there. Sent mine to AAON, and I still haven't received any feedback about my application. I tried ringing them today but the lady failed to provide definite answers, says she's not an admissions officer. I'm going to call the again tomorrow.

Yep have completed all immunizations before I sent them.

When did you submit your documents, and for which intake did you apply?

Hi :) I have sent mine first week of August; I was told the intake they have is for February 2013. The only feedback I had then was the need to have the docs rescanned as they are not so clear. That was around Aug 15. I was under the impression that at this time they are going through several batches of applications that have been sent for the October intake. All correspondence with them is through email. So far each time, it was the admission officer replying, although it does take time. At the moment I am completing the vaccine thing. I kinda started late and wont be done mid September. That is the only thing that is lacking with my application. At this point I can only think --- patience is a virtue and to keep the positive vibes on :). God bless to both of us and for everyone trying to get a place in a bp school.

It's fine. I had a lot of questions too lol. Yes, I did include it in my gaps in work. But I did have 3 months of volunteer experience which I listed down in my work experience since I was given a certificate. Try to make sure you get something like maybe a recommendation letter from your charge nurse or something. :)

Thank you so much for the replies. Appreciate it a lot. At this point I'm waiting for feedback from the applications I have sent. Getting a bit anxious with the waiting.

On a different note, it is good to hear from nurses like you who have come back to share a bit of what has happened since they first posted in this forum. :) :)

Hi arah m! I can't send messages right now. Goodluck with your paperworks. Can you give me some tips to what they ask during the interview? i'm up for an interview this friday.

Hey strwbry_nars,

Do you have an idea if AAON requires experience?
