Hi vitug.annie! sent you a pm! :)
hey aila! yeah, i've read it this morning on my phone.. i wan't able to reply yet.. it was indicated in the letter of offer that a certified copy of the visa will be showed on the FIRST day of school.. i never thought that it will be submitted prior to the commencement of the course. i'm glad you told me right away.
@vitug.anniethank you. yes, i've sent them everything.. what's an english certificate? and about your CPD certs, are they all like 20hrs/yr? did you send them a list stating the # of hours, etc for their immediate reference? im gonna send them AGAIN, my certs but this time, with a list sorta like a summary with # of hours, and some additional certs. I'm just not sure if those will suffice. I've sent them a cert of good standing before (sent by prc). I got an updated cert of good standing today and will send it to ahpra together with my other docs..
you have to request for an English certificate from high school and college. it is indicated in the certificate that all your subjects (except Filipino) are taught in English Language. schools have their own format. i did not sent my CPD certs, even my nclex pass letter. the docs i've listed are the only ones i sent through courier. maybe you need to request for a course description and have each page notarized.
hello! it's been a while since i last visited this site. this forum has helped me in so many ways, from preparing for skype interview to completing documents for visa application. i think i owe this site an update. January 2012 was when i was given an eligibility letter from AHPRA to undergo a bridging course. i searched for schools that offered the program within melbourne and then applied for 3. i ended up with IHNA. while waiting for my interview i was searching the net for possible questions and answers and stumbled upon this site. fast forward to present: i completed my clinical placement at a private hospital in Bundoora, last Aug 31. i just submitted my assessment files to IHNA yesterday, which will then be forwarded to AHPRA this week. hopefully i will get my registration by next week or the week after. during the last few days in clinicals, our educator kept reminding us that it's getting harder to get a job as a nurse in the acute setting. a lot overseas nurses start off in aged care which is not really my cuppa tea. but if it's the only option i have then what else can i do? also, some hospitals don't offer sponsorships to overseas nurses which is another problem. and overseas nurses are also competing against the local graduates. so good luck to everyone!

Please help if you know what I should do.I got my eligilbility letter from AHPRA by submitting English certs and CON did not require me to pass IELTS results.I informed my case officer about my failed writing score. Hi I read the previous thread and I have the same problem as you did. The embassy asked for my ielts results but I have a 6.5 in writing. Can I ask what happened? Did you take the IELTS again? Did you submit the results even if you did not have a 7 on all categories? How long did it take for you to get your visa? Thank you! :)
