Thank you! THis is really helpfull. This means that IHNA is not accredited anymore? I inquired them but they said they are accredited until the end of the year. waaaah.
INHA is approved from now to 30,September 2012. Not yet know if INHA is under re-accreditation , so i think everyone here should notice the expired date to avoid making any mistakes!! :)
Hi DreamMeansWork!I have been reading a lot about working as an Aussie RN from previous threads for a while now. I could definitely relate to you, considering you are a fresh grad with zero experience. I just want to ask, on what stage of the process are you in now? As for me, i intend to take the IELTS immedietely after i obtain my Phil RN license. Have you been eyeing possible bp schools while you wait for the IELTS exam? If yes, what are those?
Helllo!! :) its been a while since i last visited this forum.. And i totally understand how you feeling we're on te same boat! It's like i wanted to start my dream as soon as possible
By the way, im in the process of acquiring my experience.. :) i just sit the ielts last july 21 and got my result few days ago and thank God! I got more than what i needed!! Cheers!
Yes yes! I've been looking for a lot of schools that offer BP.. :) there were a lot actually.. Buh to mention a few, they are CON, La trobe, UniSa, IHNA, ETEA, Deakin, William light, Acfe :) i really really really wanted to lodge my application to ahpra as soon as possible, but my zero experience would not allow me!
Hi noelle. I was able to meet AHPRA requirements before my ielts expired and was able to get a place at alpine health for the 3 months BP as well. I wrote to them if I needed to retake my ielts again they said no need. I will let you know if AHPRA will make me re write the ielts after my BP. Till then, keep the faith and make use of our time. Will keep you all posted!
Hi! ajlynx16 and pringxoxo i read in the previous thread that you both are in for the january 2013 intake of ihna melbourne. I passed all the necessary documents and my application is now on the department who realeses the offer letter.I also read that prior to receiving the offer letter, you both undergone to a skype interview, how was it? Was it a formal interview that I still need to wear a business attire of some sort? What are the next steps? How many weeks did they give you before you comply with all requirements (e.g tf, visa, etc). Could you share some info regarding good accommodations around the area? I applied for Acfe's intake on january 2013 and my skype interview will be on the 19th. Did anyone applied for that intake also? How was the interview? I started with a consultancy firm but it seems that they dont update me with my bp school applic and they are too preoccupied with assisting other applicants. Sadly, i wasted one month of sensless waiting... So i decided that im doing this on my own :) others have succeeded their way without the help of such firm... im sure as hell i can do it on my own too :)
Hello pinkmarj,
Actually, I just moved my intake to January 28, since I opted to be in the Perth campus. By the way, the interview was okay, I did just wore a polo shirt, they will be able to see you but you cannot see them during the skype interview but in my case, since I had a bad internet connection, I had to turn off my video. In the interview you will be asked about the common diseases that you handle in your workplace and at the end a hypothetical question is asked.
also for the concerned ihna peeps..
here is a quoted reply i got from ihna regarding their accreditation..
"our accreditation needs to be renewed in july and we are already in the process of renewing accreditation. this is a normal process. in every five years, rtos have to renew their licence. you need not be worried on this as the renewing process will be completed very soon. this will not affect your admission at ihna."

how did you know that you are scheduled for an interview? in my case, i answered the forms online then at the end, it asked me if i want to attend the interview now or later. i clicked on later so they sent me an email having the link, username and my password for the interview. went to their site and typed in the details then it opened a new page with 15 questions.
how will i get a schedule for a skype interview?"
In my case, I send all my scanned notarized documents through their e-mail and I was called hours after then was scheduled for a skype interview a week after. Maybe those online question need to be answered only if you made an online application.
Hey prinxoxo. When did you take that online "interview"? And do you think that the intake for January is already full?
I think IHNA still have slots for their January intake, since I e-mailed them yesterday that I want to be transferred from their jan 7 intake to jan 28 and they granted it. Well, for sure one slot (the one I shifted from - jan7) is now available.
