Remember you are applying to be a RN in the state not applying for NCLEX. NCLEX is just a part of the process

Have you read the requirements on the BON website?

Yes i already did. They require CES, english proficiency test for foriegn graduates, but some people are saying that if your textbooks are in english then you dont have too, so just hoping lol.. But according to the requirements if english is not the primary then you have to take it so i wanted to know if there are filipina's out there who took it here..

My suggestion and what usually happens is get CES report done and if it states course done in English with English text books then you may be waivered the English exam but generally the best people to ask would be the BON as things do change

I have another question, alot of nursing forums are talking about concurrency. What exactly is the meaning

Of it?

What the states are looking at is clinical placement is done in the same year and the theory. We have seen a lot of members state that some of their cases was done at the end of their training and usually over 12 months from when they did the theory element

Ok now i know..

due to insufficient manpower, not enough clinical instructors some school dont really finish their cases in the time period, like for example one group will do o.r, the other will do d.r cases etc, so they cant really really practice the theories being taught right away bec of that issues.. I guess thats the case in some schools

Like mine, or bec. Of too many nursing students practicing in one hospital at the same time sone students dont actually complete their cases so some school give them a chance to complete it on the next sem or at the end of the year.

Kabayans, read ALL the threads posted in the World forum, under "Nurse registration", lots of good reads over there.
