Hi chineemarie, I am interested, can i add you on fb? please email me in yahoo.com. [email protected] I hope we can talk about Norway thing as I am planning to apply. I just need to take time for everything :cat:

I had my interview yesterday and it was not as hard as I expected. They just ask questions that they see on your requirements, I felt like it's not an interview but rather an interrogation to check if your requirements are real.Interviewers are not very friendly including the receptionists whom are not accomodating at all.Anyway according to them the process time to get student permit to study the language is now 4 months(used to be 2months).According to the girl who interviewed me, its not really them who will decide but they will submit my application to UDI, then UDI will email me or call me for feedback.really hoping for the best. :)

have you already applied for the health care worker authorization?

ichineemarie :) Thanks for emailing me. I really have no idea with that study plan thing. Maybe because I am not done reading all the stuffs in applying for visa as well for the authorisation. As for now, I have talked to someone who is already there but didn't went through this kind of application as his family is there and i think he continued his BSN there in Oslo. Learning Norwegian is really the key as it will be easier to get jobs there while we have that Residency permit to learn Norwegian. :)

Mitchayganda, yes have you already applied for? :)

Sorry. I got a little confuse @icheeniemarie and @imchineemarie. :)

hi, I have not applied for authorization yet , im planning to do it in Norway if my visa will be approved , didnt have the format for the sudy plan :( I ran out of time so I just created my own where did you get your format?can you email it to me [email protected], i know its late but I just wanted to see.im crossing my fingers now for my application

@mitchay are you aware with the cons of applying the SAK when you are already in Norway? As far the concern, it might take you months before you have the authorization. It might extend until your visa will expire (just from the experience I read from the previous post). The study plan, you can as chineemarie about it. She was the one who gave me that. ;) where do you plan to study there? By the way, aren't you going to study Norwegian language here prior going to Norway? :)

Norway is a great destination for nurses, just learn the language. But it will fill up real fast as Norway is a small country.

Hi greenjungle. Are you a nurse already there? :) where?

For the benefit of all those who have been inquiring about application for SAK authorization, I want to share what I experienced. My application did not even take a month from the time I received and paid the invoice. It came very much earlier than I expected because according to their website, if you were educated outside EU countries, it would take about 6 months processing time for the SAK authorization. But in my case, I mailed my notarized and authenticated documents last April 2013 then I received the invoice last May. Then last week of June, I already received my authorization by post/ mail. Maybe it would not take too long to wait provided you submit all the proper documentations needed.
