Hi Brad,
It’s a human mistake! MAKE SURE YOI REPORT TO THE BOARD WITHIN 30 days. If it’s substance abuse related you must do your recovery program in your state. I’m so sorry. Do not wait- it looks bad and CALL AN ATTORNEY TO BE PRESENT during it all.
I don’t know what your background is, but an extended care facility really needs humans. Not that they do not care- but they are more lenient. Some case manager positions are doing Covid positions from home(remote). I literally get these every day. I can connect with you and give you the site. It’s remote so anywhere US is welcome. Credentials and experience are required. Apparently mine are garbage now. So I’m just a waste of space. But I have every resource for you nurses! I don’t know if you can message on here!
Seeking out an LTC is good advive as long as the OP does not have a conviction related to his probation. If he is on the OIG list he will have trouble working in a facility that relies on Medicare/Medical for reimbursment. I would suggest trinh Psych facilities and dialysis clinics. Also suggest op change his user name to something anonymous.

Hi Brad,
How is everything? Did you get a job?
I'm having the same issue after reinstating my RN license. I have applied to many jobs, including dialysis, case management, and psychiatric, and as soon as they find out that I'm on probation, they tell me they have to ask human resources. Then I usually get an email stating that they cannot hire me. I'm so frustrated is even depressing. I have experience and a BSN, and my restrictions are minimal. In my case was not related to diversion, substance abuse, or anything related to patient care. It was due to something that happened over eight years ago, and I lied on one of the questions when I applied to the BRN board.

Hi All,
I am going to be going on probation for 2 years. Does anybody have any advice for getting employment? I feel kinda lost and don't know where to look other than indeed or job boards. Will Nursing recruiters work with me? Does anybody have any non clinical health care job suggestions? Thanks.
Brad
