Hi everyone,
I took the NCLEX-RN for the second time last Wednesday. Just found out I failed.
What a bummer! Had 265 questions both times. The first time I was very nervous, had several breakdowns during the exam and knew I failed. Last week was different; I was relaxed, no breakdowns, just answered the questions.
To me it felt I had a change at passing. Unfortunately I didn't.
I went to nursing school in the Netherlands, passed 12 years ago and worked at a PACU-unit ever since.
Two years ago my husband and I decided we wanted to go for a new life in the US. So a nursing license is very welcome!
Are there Dutch/ European nurses on this forum who can advise me how to study for NCLEX?
I'm understanding that this isn't just an exam. Even US (student) nurses struggle passing. I've read their stories here and it helps me to keep going. Kudos for all of you who didn't give up on their dream and for all the ones still struggling.
So, I'm hoping for some support/ advice regarding this tough exam.
Thanks to you all:redbeathe
